I C E B R E A K E R S
We can easily become trapped in a virtual ice of consumerism, marketing, peer pressure, and public opinion. We cannot move: we are surrounded and hemmed in by cold, colorless entities, much like ice itself. In an atmosphere like this, our innate passions are frozen by society’s expectations and demands. Like the small figures trapped in ice cube trays inside the sunglasses, we too can feel imprisoned by expectations. My art demands that you break the ice, and do not surrender to mass media or globalization. Just be yourself.
