My sunglasses sculptures are more than just objects; they are metaphors for the way we perceive reality, time, and our place in the vast expanse of the universe. Each pair of lenses captures fleeting moments, mirroring the passage of time - what once was, what is, and what will be. The transparency and tint of the glasses symbolize our shifting perspectives, the way light bends through our experiences, and how our perception of truth is colored by time.
The frames, solid yet fragile, represent human values - our desire to define, structure, and hold onto meaning in an ever-changing world. Just like time shapes landscapes, emotions, and destinies, the sculptural form of my work reminds us that nothing is permanent except transformation itself.
By merging elements of nature with man-made forms, my sculptures create a dialogue between humanity and the cosmos. The way they reflect the things or the gaze of the observer highlights our interconnectedness with the world around us. They invite us to look beyond ourselves - to see not only what is in front of us but also what lies within.
Ultimately, my work is an invitation to embrace harmony - with ourselves, with others, and with nature. It is a poetic reminder that while we are mere specks in the grand design of the universe, we are also mirrors of its beauty, wisdom, and infinite possibilities.
